How To Get The Visitors To Your Site To Buy
by JVon Robinson

Did you know that...?
Many people never revisit a website after the first initial visit. Most people don't buy on their first visit. Website visits that actually turn into a sale, or where an email is given amounts to a very small percentage.
Wouldn't it be nice if everyone that visited your site took action the first time? Unfortunately, the stats paint a much different picture. So what do you do to promote repeat visits and actual sales?
Don't leave it up to your visitors to return to your site, you need to drive them back. Give them something to do on your site, or offer them quality freebies.
Make sure you utilize keywords to drive visitors to your site. Most sites will let you enter keywords for your pages, take advantage of these services, and repeat your keywords throughout your marketing text.
Use search engines to drive visitors to your site.
Make sure you capture email addresses in order to contact your visitors again... and remind them to return to your site.
Use easy to remember domain names. If your domain name is too complicated, visitors may not remember how to get back to your site even if they want to.
More importantly...Do the pages load easily? Slow loading pages are the number one turn-off. Keep load times under 10 seconds or less; you can do this by reducing graphics on one page to not more than 4-5 images.
Is your site attractive? You want it to look good but it doesn't have to be fancy, some plain sites make more money than the high priced fancy ones. Is your site interesting? What is the message? Is it a powerful selling tool? Do your key points stand out, or does the prospect have to read through a lot of useless stuff to get to the main points? Something, most fast-paced internet entrepreneurs will not do. Ask yourself each of these questions as you study your site.
Compare your site to some of the number one selling sites online. Look at sources such as the Clickbank marketplace and review the top 10 sites in each category. Study what they are saying, and how they are saying it.
Limit the font types used on one page. Arial or Helvetica are good headline choices, while Times Roman or Verdana are good body copy choices. Avoid fancy text or colors that make your site to hard to read. No one wants to spend time squinting through your message, and you certainly don't want your visitors to leave your site with a headache.
Use simple ordering methods, don't give customers a chance to change their mind because of lack of ease in ordering. It's hard enough to get them to pull out their credit cards in the first place.
Constantly check your site for errors. Broken links, misspelled words, typos, all these will distract from the quality and professionalism that you want your site to display.
Putting all of the above practices in place, will open the doors for greater online profits and success!
